Brain Tonic

 

While attending classes for my masters in holistic education, I experienced forgetfulness and a great deal of mental fatigue. My instructor realized the problem I was having and put some herbs together, which I thankfully began to use. After a few days, I found the forgetfulness and mental fatigue had vanished, which was a miracle to me. My alertness, memory and concentration definitely improved. GINKO BILOBA

Ginkgo Biloba is most commonly used to treat the elderly for disorientation, depression, memory loss, headaches, tinnitus, and vertigo because of its positive effects as a circulatory aid. It is thought to help increase blood flow to the brain, which makes it a possible treatment for cerebral insufficiency.
SALVIA SCLAREA

Salvia sclarea oil extracts in capsule form produced markedly improved memory function in test subjects, and it is very possible that this herb may protect a key chemical destroyed in the brain by Alzheimer's disease. Better yet, no side effects whatsoever were reported by participants. Although studies, started in 2003, are not complete at this time, this is very promising research.
MENTHA PIPERITA

This herb is said that it helps against upset stomachs, inhibits the growth of certain bacteria, and can help smooth and relax muscles when inhaled or applied to the skin. Other health benefits are attributed to the high manganese, vitamin C and vitamin A content; as well as trace amounts of various other nutrients such as fibre, iron, calcium, folate, potassium, tryptophan, magnesium, omega-3 fatty acids, riboflavin, and copper. In Brazil, this herb is said to stimulate the nervous and muscular systems and is used for digestive problems, renal colic, nerve pain, depression, fatigue, and obesity.
ROSEMARYINUS OFFICINALIS

Rosemaryinus officinalis is commonly used especially as a tonic and pick-me-up when feeling depressed, mentally tired, nervous etc. Research has shown that the plant is rich in volatile oils, flavanoids and phenolic acids, which are strongly antiseptic and anti-inflammatory. Rosmarinic acid has potential in the treatment of toxic shock syndrome, whilst the flavonoid diosmin is reputedly more effective than rutin in reducing capillary fragility. Rosmarol, an extract from the leaves, has shown remarkably high antioxidant activity.
